I think this season was so much better and has great twists, i wish lana would just stop with the whole carrying on with the luthor antics and instincts, its getting on my nerves, she should just put all her past with lex behind her, he was a bastard to her, she finally saw through him and now all of a sudden shes trying to murder lionel and lex, y bother someone will do it eventually, just stay in love with clark aka SUPERMAN and don’t cause trouble lol Im looking forward to season 8 when he realises his true calling and destiny, can’t wait, saw the trailer, looks awesome, its kool how he wears a neyo style coat like its a cape, season 8 can’t wait

im sure he would have if he didnt have to deal with lex and finding out that something could control him so what was he gonna do let lex control him without a fight

has anyone noticed that kara’s face is the same shape as the superman symbol, kinda weird. Not really a critisism just an observation, personally i think she’s hot

  7. kouga says:

okay, doesn’t anyone remember clark promising to join the justice league after he captured all the phantoms…and last time i checked there are no more phantoms so yea…..

I’m beginning to think Lex’s meteor power releases some sort of pheromone that makes people not want to kill him. Think about it the only times weird disaster befalls him is when he gets wet that stops his power from functioning and everyone wants to kill him again. I assume “meteor freaks” and kryptonians are immune to his abilities. Notice how pete goes from omg he must die to lol what was I doing!?

  14. season 7 was my favorite season. Kara rules. She needs to come back in season 9. Clark needs her! Right on supergirl!

When is Clark going to stop making the same stupid mistake

    • obscureinfo says:

What stupid mistake is that? Believing the best in people? Not getting swept up in this prophecy garbage? Wanting to spend his life with the woman he loves? Clark keeps choosing the “wrong” things because he is just as human as the rest of us. Yes, he should just move on. Lana is not the woman for him. But he still loves her. Yes, he should have told his cousin the truth when she got back. Yes, he should have focused on Lex a lot sooner. But to stay true to his own character, Clark HAS to make these mistakes. (although I would have preferred his moving to Metropolis this season because he just is stuck in a rut at the farm, holding on to a past that doesn’t exist anymore)

Clark never asked to be superhuman. He doesn’t want to be. Sure, he likes helping people and saving them, but having his powers and keeping them secret have driven everyone away from him. He stands alone. Especially in this season. He just wants to fit in. That’s what makes him meek and mild-mannered. It’s not an act. I love the way they’ve protrayed him in this series. Lois said it best in season 4-episode 2 “gone”- “One minute you all meek and mild-mannered, yes ma’am, no, sir and the next, you are the most overconfident guy I know.”

What I hate most about Clark is his ability to make everything his fault. He takes the blame for everything that happens. Jor-El wanted to teach him about the consequences of his actions so he doesn’t abuse his powers, but now he blames himself for everything. That’s the burden of power. When you can do so much with all these special abilities, when something happens that you might have been able to prevent had you known about it beforehand, you start to doubt yourself. You see it as your responsibility. But having powers doesn’t make you a god. As powerful as Clark is, he can still only be in one place at a time. Sure, he could zip around the world every night and prevent as much suffering as he could, but someone would still die or be murdered or have an accident.

I understand why he made the mistakes he did and in his shoes, I might have done the same. So might’ve you.
