hey natashaaa i figured they will stop the show soon. i mean it has been going on for 9 years! i think dis might be the last season. i’m sure gonna miss this show!
nice 2 c Grif again…1 prob though, didn;t lionel kill him? yep, in my very fav episode when lex gets shot at CHRISTMAS and me and lex – i mean lana and lex r married in his unconscious fantasy. i’m glad this guy is back, but as a kandorian? and no explanation how he survived being shot or was it stabbed 2 death? shabby tx very shabby
No, it’s just the same actor. Whenever you have an on-going series, you come across certain actors and actresses that do such a good job, you want to bring them back somehow. Usually when they do bit parts (like this guy did with Grif, one episode 4 seasons ago?) I remember in Lois and Clark, they had a southern actor who played the “invisible man” in the first season and later in season three, they brought the actor back to play a loser who gets Clark’s powers and uses them to spy on people and make money. It happens all the time. Back before DVDs and online episodes, people didn’t notice as much. But now, when you can watch all nine seasons online in a week? Just chalk it up to TV and suspend your disbelief. Aaron Ashmore got his Jimmy Olsen gig after his twin brother Shawn played Eric “Superboy” Summers in season 1 and nobody said anything about how he looked like a villian. But good call. Not everybody catches those things. I certainly didn’t.
I have a feeling they will continue to develop the Justice League story throughout the next two seasons, then eventually Smallville will end and a new series will premiere call the “Justice League” or something along those lines. That series could go on indefinitly considering the number of characters they could write episodes about.
I wish. With the original creators off the series and the main cast either have left or leaving, it seems we are reaching the end of our journey. I had hoped that Smallville would be the start of other “superhero” projects, but nothing has materialized. Aquaman sunk before it could swim, Green Arrow never got the green light, and the Batman origin series got remade into Smallville. I wouldn’t mind a Green Arrow series focusing on Oliver and Mia and the Black Canary. Studios are reluctant to put money into anything without being assured of its success. Because Dark Angel, Bionic Woman, Birds of Prey, and the ’90s Flash series all tanked, they are reluctant to move on other superhero projects. They see Smallville as a flash in the pan and not an indication of what people want to see. Which is a shame, since they are so many good stories out there, with or without costumes, for adaptation to TV. Hopefully, the numbers will be great enough to convince the execs to pull the trigger on the next Superhero Project.
I really miss Alia. Her sadistic leaning was so promissing, she could do a lot of damage to Clark and his friends in the future. She was a perfect enemy to Clark, a beautiful woman and a strong warrior at the same time, decisive, evil, cruel, knowing no hesitation, pity or mercy. Too good to be killed in “Conspiracy”. They made a tragic mistake by eliminating her.
uno, don’t u think if a pandemic like this was happening Lana, with her kryptonite body, would come and save the day. Ino, thet proberly just didn’t think because the actress isn’t on the show anymore, but that would of been a easy solution to a bunch of kandorians. she could of easily killed them all!
