November 14th, 2008 at 11:36 pmWatching the episode i don’t think it’s really Brainiac, i think Chloe’s subcontiousness has realised that Davis is a threat and is trying to send her a message, but they just don’t understand they are so fixated on Brainac they doon’t see. Clark said it “Brainiac always has an objective” but they aren’t listening to themselves.

I don’t think Davis well get to that point. I think we’ll see him get trapped in time or something like that in the last episode. They’ll probably both die once but be revived somewhere along the line.
The chloe thing is weird. Does the mean she still knows about her powers?
That memory scene with davis and chloe suggests well be seeing Lex in one of the next few episodes.

November 19th, 2008 at 9:08 pmI’m glad we’re done with Lana who’s busy playing the lead role in The upcoming action movie “Street Fighter, the Legend of Chun Lee”. Moreover, Erica Durance is one hot beauty and an excellent choice for the role of Lois. I’ve heard rumours about being the last season. This is not at all true. Think about it, all the marvel and league of justice fans will agree with me, that there’s too much left to be done. Smallville is by far the most elaborate & professionally produced series when it comes to the marvel world. We still have to see the League of Justice coming together with Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman & many more. Smallville is an opportunity for the CW network to explore a virgin market and this means huge profits for the network. Yes there might be people who don’t like Smallville, but who won’t like all the super heroes to come together as one.

The sad news is that we won’t be seeing much of Allison Mack post season 8. It feels like a great loss, but Erica rules and she’ll be there.

4. He will have to be burried by the League of Justice with its hundreds of Heroes & sooner or later Superman will come back.
So, exactly how is this going to happen?
Just so you know, Ali Zain Raza, Smallville isn’t copied directly from the comic book version.
The story is very much changed in comparison, so there’s pretty much no point in attempting to make the comparison between the TV series and the comic books…
By the way, if you’d have read about one of the interviews somewhere on the internet, which involved 1 of the Smallville directors, you’d know that Doomsday CAN be done, WILL be done, and more importantly, IS being done. And don’t try arguing with it, because it is what the director has said all by himself.
Also, Clark will learn to fly in Season 9/10, and yes, there will be a Season 9/10, the directors are negotiating with Tom Welling about extended his (original) 8 year contract (Season 1-8) to either 9 or 10 years (Season 1-9/10).
Tom’s original contract said that Tom will never wear the actual Superman costume, which is why we always see him in red and/or blue, as it is his (Superman’s) traditional colours…
And about the flying thing, I have heard that the directors are trying to negotiate with Tom that in the new agreement, Clark will develop the powers of flight at some point.
Penultimately, the relationship between Clark and Lois is developing through the course of Season 8, and will probably lead into them becoming a couple towards the end of Season 8, or the beginning of Season 9… The only reason they have not become a couple yet is that the directors and creators of Superman: Returns requested that Smallville did not feature Clark and Lois as a couple until Superman: Returns was released. Now though, Superman: Returns has been released, so the Smallville directors are allowed to do as they wish with the “Lois & Clark” situation. I have no idea as to why they requested it, but oh well…
Finally, if you’d have watched all the episodes of Smallville, you’d be aware that Clark Kent has actually died several times. Most recently when he was shot by the Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) in Odyssey, and moments later, saved by the Martian Manhunter…

November 21st, 2008 at 1:06 amFirst, the reason as to why they asked that Lois and Clark not happen before the release of the movie is simple, in the movie, Lois didnt care too much for Clark, she was infatuated with his red and blue tights wearing alter ego.
Second, Clark already has the ability to fly, and has since he came back as Kal-EL in the premiere of season 4. He just doesn’t know it, proof of this is when the phantom cloned his body and memories, thus creating Bizzaro, he (bizzaro) could fly. How would Bizzaro have known how to fly if Clark couldn’t?
And third, Clark has never actually died in any episodes. He did come close, but if you’d have paid attention at the end of the premiere of this season, clark is well awake and alive when the martian manhunter takes him close enough to the sun to restore his powers
add on to my second pint before, Clark has said in previous episodes that he is afraid of heights……….maybe this is why he has yet to fly………….

Moreover, if smallville isn’t entirely based on the comics, then the producers should be sued to have used the same characters and having potrayed them differently.

And FYI, Clark dies many times in previous episodes, yes I agree. But during most of those times he never had his abilities.
November 21st, 2008 at 6:20 amI saw superman fight doomsday. . . it’s a cartoon the title is superman : doomsday. . . eventually superman and doomsday will have an equal fight. . . by equal i mean both of them are dead. . . but superman will wake from his grave. . . and he will return. . . and in the story lex is back and don’t know anything about clark’s identity. . . and he will clone superman. . . that’s all. . .
