Clark wont beable to fly untill late season 9, if not season 10. The team who make smallville has a strickt ‘no tights, no flight’ policy untill they well and truley covered the rest of his back history and who he became the man we now know and love…Superman.

Actually Doomsday does NOT kill Superman in the comics. Superman uses his last bit of strength to take down Doomsday, after the fight he collapses and we think he dead, when in fact he enters a coma-like state to use his Kryptonian healing powers. Lex Luthor has the real body at a lab and clones Superman making the 4 incarnations you are referring too, until the real Superman comes back. So Superman doesn’t die to Doomsday in their epic battle, although he has died before to Gog.

Well its either due to Character story being played out, or they didnt renew their contracts with the show. I dont think the latter happen to Lex though seeing as he is a Main Character in the superman series.

I dont like this season.. to many of the original characters are gone, Jonathan, Martha, Lionel, Lex, Lana, Whitney,Pete.. All of them have just vanished from the damn show..
