Yeah, and in Justice League Unlimited, the flash ends up going so fast that he goes through reality itself and ends up in some kind of speed heaven, where “The voices were calling me home” or something like that. He vows to never go that fast again cuz he doesn’t know if he could be saved from it a second time. The flash is actually pretty intense.
do you guys remember in the superman movie superman flys around the earth in the oppissit direction and makes the earth go the other way :p haha thats speed but idk if hes faster than flash even if he was flying if they raced and flash was on a straight line and superman was flying in the straight line im positive flash would win..i mean come on thats what he does :p hahaha just joking flash is faster cheack the comic in one issue of superman they say that if supermans speed was compared to the speed of sound then flash is compared to the speed of light..even tho he can go faster than light :p haha
okay, going to sound like a geek, there was a comic book where flash and superman were forced to race each other by some irish looking magical lepracorn, the question was who could run quickest around the world, flash needed to eat plenty of food to complete the race yet superman just had to rely on the sun, flash beat him just in the end but if superman had been allowed to fly he would of won, as in one part of the race he was penalized for flying over water when flash ran on water and complained. It was in an old comic book but made excellent read
Well you know what, if you listen to physics, and IF he is faster than the speed of light, without the strength that Clark has, if Flash hit anyone with that much momentum his entire body would break down. There’s always two forces whenever you’re working with speed, and if neither can hold back that force everybody is screwed! =)

Yea flash vowed never to go that speed again so we dont even know how fast flash really is. For all we kno his speed is unlimited. And as for flash punching harder cause of the momentum its true but Flash isn’t as durable so his hand would probably be smashed as well
The Flash (Wally West)is faster than Superman because he can run to a speed in which he can enter in what’s called the Speed Force. Superman has never entered the Speed Force from his speed or flight to my knowledge. So, it proves the flash is faster. But, Bart Allen was from the future and ran into the past by accident and can’t return on his own so, technically Bart isn’t nearly as fast as Wally West. So, his speed vs Superman is questionable. I know…I’m a nerd.
So something I just realized. “:Lead:” all clark kent needs is lead armor. full lead armor and he’s all good from our favourite little rock. lamesauce I can’t believe I just figured out the cure to his one weakness
OK ppl, the Speed Force is the Flash’s source of Power, Superman’s is the yellow sun. Now Both are very fast and both have moved so fast that they traveled through time. Superman can vibrate his molecules at superspeeds making them intangible so he can pass through solid objects, Flash has done this as well.
Now physics, Force=Mass Accelerated, the faster somthing goes the more force it has. Flash has been able to hit and hurt Superman before due to his speed. Someone earlier said Flash should be able to hit harder than Superman, well he can.
Superman’s top punches are able to Shatter a Planet. When the Flash moved at top speed (bout 20,000XLight Speed) he was able to deliver a blow equal to the force of a dwarf Star, so he has hit even harder than Superman at one point.
Now as for Superman’s speed, well heres some serious feats. Ppl forget that Superman can Fly, Flash cant, and Superman’s Traveling Speed outweighs his reaction speed by a landslide, whereas Flash can move and react at the same speeds that he runs at, whereas Superman can fly faster than he can punch, kick, dodge, block, etc.
So Superman speed feats. One time a thug was mugging Lois Lane and shot a gun at her. Superman heard the whole thing from across the city and flew ALL the way across Metropolis before the bullet hit her. Thats fast.
Heres another, even crazier feat. One time when the Green Lantern was patrolling in another Galaxy he was caught up in an explosion, as the blast went off and was about to hit him he called out “Kal-el”. Superman was working at the daily planet and heard his call. Superman flies off of Earth, thru our solar system, across our Galaxy and into the next one and gets to the Green Lantern before the blast reaches him and pushes him out of the way.
So yes Superman is very fast and in alot of cases faster than Flash, mainly because he can cover more area (like Outer-Space).
Also want another Superman feat? Superman flew after Supergirl before who was caught in an explosion that knocked her to the end of the universe. When he got there he was told he could not progress further because he had reached a place that Mortal eyes could not see…Heaven. Superman backs up and flies at superman, entering the Area and smashing the gates of Heaven down in the process. He also accidentally punches God in the face. God chooses Superman to replace him as the Supreme Being in the Universe if the Almighty ever decides to step down.
So Superman is pretty freakin Crazy. MOreso than Flash.

Superman restrains his powers at all times, even when fighting the big badddies, because he is afraid of accidentally hurting someone. this shows that we have never truly seen supermans full power. however do to the origin of the flash’s powers he is faster than superman, whether he is flying or not.
Superman can be faster than flash, yes even in a foot race, but only if the need is there. For example someone is in danger, that being the case superman will not restrain himself and will be as fast as he needs to be.
