  1. Hazel says:

sageeth wuld b the hero if naman wanted to conquer the world

  2. Kels says:

Clark really can’t fight for shit. Learn some martial art dude!!! Pussy!!! Weak ass….pfff…

  3. kouga says:

wat lex said has sum truth…how wuld yu know wat gud is if there is no evil, n how culd yu call sum1 evil if there is no good…dat whole sageeth as a hero concept makes yu think…lex is da 1 keeping track of superman n he is brave n if lex wasn’t dere superman mite c da govt n corrupt n mite want a new world order.

Also back to that ying yang theory, if clark didn’t exist then lex n lionel would’ve probably died. Good and Evil are in the eye of the holder, just cause what Clark sees as evil Lex sees as good and an advancement cause he follows The Prince by machiavelli “The end justifies the means”

so it makes you think if lex is really evil at all

    • That Cleveland Dude says:

You really have a great way of expressing your interpretation. I, at the time of watching it, felt as if Lex knew that the tribe and Clark saw him as the evil. Just as before, Lex has always been blamed for being evil. Lex doesn’t believe this in his heart. So, he has completely come up with a way that this evil does exist but is not him. In the end, if you pay attention, he even suggests that the only evil is Clark himself. Because the only equal battle that Clark will ever have is himself. Hence the idea that the evil will come from Naman.

I don’t like the idea of ying-yang theory. It wipes away the idea that if humans do what’s right we can achieve a perfect harmonious life. I believe that evil is existent because we allow it to be.

      • The Knowledgeble One says:

Well, evil does exist in every1 i believe. If you watch Smallville then I assume you’ve watch similar genre type shows on the WB/CW as well, show that comes to mind is “Angel”.

During the 2nd season episode 15 “Reprise”, Angel has turned kinda dark by this point in the series, he breaks into the Senior Partner meeting at Wolfram & Hart(an evil, demonic law-firm) in order to reach what they call “the home office”, the place from which their evil power comes. He needs an enchanted ring from a senior partner in order to travel there. It is assumed that the “home office” is a Hell dimension of some sort, and when Angel puts on the ring, an elevator door magically appears on the side of the building and opens. He gets in and the elevator goes down, beneath the ground level, it goes on for a long time.

His guide on the elevator is a former member of the firm, a person Angel let die, he explains that he and his people have no intentions of “winning” the fight as Angel puts it, he says they will always be, forever, so winning isn’t an agenda of theirs. Finally the doors reopen and its exactly where Angel got on, the streets of L.A., in our world. The guide explains that ‘this’ is the “home office”, that if there wasn’t evil in EVERYONE on Earth, they couldn’t exist, it is because every human is possessed of some evil that they(the firm) can never loose.

So it kinda goes along with what your saying about evil existing in people.

Now as for Lex being non-evil or viewing himself as non-evil, well theres other examples of that. Take Star Wars, the Jedi and Sith are 2 points of view, they each view the other as evil. If you read the book “Darth Bane” you’ll get a better grip on the Sith point of view and how they see the Jedi. Thats how one can view evil and good.

Another great example is in the Graphic Novel “Red Son”. This is a what-if story about Superman, where if his ship hadn’t crashed landed in Kansas but in Communist Russia during WW2. If Superman wasn’t raise by the all-American Kents, but rather Joseph Stalin. He is still Superman and all but a lot happens and Lex is kinda the good guy in the end, he also winds up Marrying Lois Lane instead of Kal-el. Superman kinda snaps at the end after receiving a letter from Lex, he like breaks down and helps Lex stop Braniac, in the process destroying himself. It ends with Lex finding a cure for cancer and other diseases which cause humans to live for like 800+ years. There’s a lot more as well, dealing with Batman and Wonder Woman, but its a very interesting read. It’ll give you some other ideas on the whole Lex and Clark and Good vs Evil aspect.

    • the rise says:

      dude learn good english

  4. Xheph says:

You know… what Lex said at the end is logical. I mean Kal-Al was meant to conquer, so it’d only be logical that Lex would be the hero of the story. That is if and only if Lex hadn’t gone bad though, and only if Clark decided to do what his parents wanted.

  5. clark says:

so wait if chloe’s mom left when she was 5 who was her dad getting a divorce from?…it doesnt add up

  6. GF says:

He won’s recover so fast because the knife was made of kryptonian (sp?) metal. Clark gets weak around kryptonian rocks and is able to recover when he’s far enough but this was metal. probably that is equal to a stabing in a normal person, he might die or go to an hospital hoping it would heal (of cours there he would have to expline why they can’t even put a needle in is arm but u get the point).

  7. obsessive says:

p.s i think lex wanted lana to stay because he likes her. hm?

  8. Supa says:

    Um… It’s not a mystery who will become superman’s arch-enemy, smart one.

  9. Supa says:

She *did* remake the Talon. That’s pretty artsy.

  10. Evan says:

Her and Lex get married lol
