Metallo double feature WOW. I had just finished watching Superman & Batman Public Enemies, when I started watching this ep.So sad about that guy though, why it had to be Derick Reese um I mean whatever is his name for this show. Cool ep though I can’t wait to see more.
Good episode. I was getting de ja vu on the kryptonite heart as I remembered that from the “Lois & Clark” version. I was a huge fan of that when it was running (except season 4). Still like it. It was an almost totally different story but the guy had the same name. I hear he’s in the comics too but I haven’t read the ones he’s in so I don’t know how it compares.
I don’t think Clark’s convinced that Lois didn’t miss him much. Hehehe It’s going to be fun seeing them get together. I like her better than Lana anyway. Nice, pretty girl but she always seemed depressed. Chloe’s a lot of fun. I hope she remains friends with Clark. However, I really think he needs some male close friends. It seems since Lex and Pete were no longer his friends (present ones anyway) they’re all girls. I hope him and Oliver get on better in the future.
I’ve got a feeling that the orb was a means to preserve the kryptonian race in the event that the home planet was destroyed, i think zod’s comments made this evident enough. who created it and what their intentions are is up for grabs with the appearance of the “S” on this episode. I freeze framed the zoom on my DVR and the person on the “S” looks a lot like Clark. My money is that these people are a reincarnation of already-dead kryptonians including this “other clark” which may explain why that chick in the first episode was after him presumably mistaking the two in the future. This doesn’t sound likely though so it may be Jor-El in the flesh, it is afterall the seal of the “-El” family. And i think there was a leak before this season was out that Jor-El may make a physical appearance this season. Perhaps a younger version of him like zod is. And i seam to remember an old episode with Tom Welling playing the role of the young Jor-El so this idea doesn’t sound so far fetch. Time will tell

Hmm… Smallville seems to be losing it’s edge.. Not as interesting as it used to be.. Kind of deperessing.. kind of good episode though..
