General Zod had nothing to do with it.

I think locking the door from the inside like that was just meant to show what her decision was: that yes, she was going to help Davis. That’s probably as far as the lock goes…although it will deter the likes of Jimmy Olsen from barging in on them at an inopportune moment and having an awkward “It’s not what you think” scene.
Clark, of course, can bust down the door, but he’d probably only do it if he was desperate to find her and thought that she was in danger. He doesn’t go around busting up his friends’ homes just because he can.
I think people need to seriously chill about this “it ruins the storyline” B.S. We don’t know what the storyline is. We know what the comic book storyline was, but they’ve deviated from the comic book storyline from day one. Forget what you think you know.
You can’t control what other people write, so don’t bother trying. My suggestion is that if it bothers you that much, don’t read the comments…just watch the episodes.

They haven’t really shown his the symbol the house of El in Clarks colours.
Who thinks they’ll bring in any other DC characters or any new ones; maybe even from Marvel?

Read Superman/Doomsday II (was only released as a special book). Waverider put a ring type thing on one of Doomsdays bone thingys and besiclly put him into something like another dimension. But I would like to see them “kill” each other and have almost a whole Reign of the Supermen thing going on next season.
I’m thinking since Davis gets stronger with kryptonite he’s probably the same as any of the phantoms from the phantom zone. so Davis’ source of strength is Clark’s weakness and Clark’s strength,(the sun), will be Dooms Days weakness… maybe

FYI: Every version of Superman changes the story unlike Batman who has changed a lot but not as often because Clark is an alien and a bigger favourite so each time the story is retold it spins money and success for some but not all involved.
For the Superman was only a little bit more super in the begining the average guy for example he can’t travel faster than light, but has x-ray vision. He couldn’t fly but he could tall buildings like the empire state in the 30’s oringinal comic’s.
That’s where some off the catch pharses from the early versions come from.

I don’t think the writers are confused at all…they’re just not writing the episodes that people here would write.
