first and last episode of each season are the best. ya know what, the graphics for smallville are 10x times better than that of twilight, better is assumable for this probably because the producers are not afraid to spend money lol smallville is better and more elongated.

Yeah. I think they do pretty decent job with the visual effects. CG is much better than it used to be, but there are parts which don’t sell too well. Like the last scene in episode 20 of this season. I mean.. most uses of CG can usually be figured out. But that one at the end really didn’t work at all in my opinion.
One of the nice things about CG though is that It’s probably far more cost effective and they don’t have to destroy as much stuff as they did in the “old days”. But I still like the visual effects of the “old days”. Like in the superman movies. When a car gets tossed or superman gets squashed by a bus. It feels like it’s happening. It may or may not look fake to someone else. But it feels “solid” to me. I know that’s a weird way to describe special effects. But when I see CG, it doesn’t “feel real” and takes away from the scene a lot of the times.

I believe he is referring to his kids. If his kids were to put on the cape. I believe his entire comment was supposed to be funny/sarcastic and not meant as a scientific description of “How to get webbed feet”.
However, we do have suggestive evidence that long term inbreeding does introduce “imbalances” into a population. We’ve studied remote tribes where inbreeding is the common method of reproduction. It’s also thought from our genetic studies that the human race came from a very small population. Perhaps 5000 or less. That part of how we came to be may be due to inbreeding. Meaning that maybe some of our evolutionary steps could be maybe not caused, but correlated to mutations due to this.

inbreeding does not create mutations out of nothing it merely increases the risk of passing on genetic defects, e.g. if a guy has webbed feet and has a child with his cousin then the child will have a greater risk of webbed feet than if the guy was to have a child with someone else because the cousins dna is much more similar to the guys. The child could also get webbed feet if the guy didnt have webbed feet but him and his cousins great-great grandfather had webbed feet since they are all descended from him and therefore could have similar genes. Webbed feet isnt that common though, the most common traits from inbreeding are brain defects and aggressive tendancies, this goes a long way into explaining the actions of the residents of Alabama, Texas and North/South Carolina.
