man ive just started watching smallville and NO ONE CAN ACT FOR SHIT i dont know if tis cuz its early season so evryone still getting used to there character but god damn it the acting is so bad sometime i just wonder how the fuck they got chosen for this show
Yeah, see.. I think the part of that section there was intended to offer some misdirection…to the characters and anybody who is “new” to the mythology.
I believe the “god umong men.” “rule them with strength” Wasn’t an attempt to add to the mythology that Jor-El wanted Clark to rule Earth. It was more probably meant as… We humans are a flawed race. Show us the way. Be a leader Kal-El… etc… But since Clark knows nothing about his father.. yeah.. he takes on the perspective I believe you are stating.
Na. What’s really obvious is the glasses.. and the hair. I mean. He puts on the cape, takes off the glasses, but does nothing with the hair.
I liked in “The new adventures of lois and clark” how a writter goes back in time to meet lois and clark and she, lois, asks him if in the future people think she was dumb for not noticing they looked the same.. He’s like.. no.. not dumb.. just blind. :X
yeah i was just going to say that too!! in my opinion, i think the superman story is kind of like the story of Christ too….so does that mean DBZ is too!?

I’m not sure where you see the “christ” parallelism there with superman or with DBZ. Other than the whole “super power” motif.
