Lionel is the vessel for Jor-el since season 4, so he knows all about clark.
Even so, he’s still not exactly a “good guy” by a long shot.
He has been directly and inderectly responsible for almost all the bad things that go on. He caused Lex to become who and what he does, he basically killed Jonathan and he is responsible for Lana and Clark not being together. In the future that Lex saw, he refuses to save Lana’s life causing Lex to become power driven.
The real villan isn’t Lex, even if Lex becomes Clarks eventual nemesis, It’s Lionel, because he is the one who creates Lex.

i used to LOVE lex, but now that hes becoming a real asshole, it makes me dislike him. hes not sexy when he acts that way. haha
