not to sound like a nerd but the flash never actually appears in smallville, bart (the guy who can run faster than clark) is actually shown to be Impulse in season 8 when all the heroes (except clark) start using hero names, impulse was the flashes sidekick in the comic books.

Bart Allen is is Flash, in season 8 it said his full name. He goes by his real name Barry Allen in the comic books.
Later he changes it from Impulse to The Flash. Smallville isn’t the the same as the comics…
