I am feeling so sorry for Lex, he can not fight the growing evil inside him anymore. When you look his life, all he ever wanted was to have love and caring, to be trusted, he wished people would just be honest with him. But bricks of bad treatment by others and constant putting him down eventually made an enourmous house of evil. That evil has its origins in sadness and desperation. It would be so great if the things could turn out like in Lexmas… But, I guess one must stick true to the story and what would Smallville be without Clarks nemesis?

It was the episode with the phantom who possessed the black kid and had radioactive powers. When Raya found Clark, then died protecting him from the phantom. The phantom, in search of more power, went to Lex’s mansion, found the damaged braniac, and drained it so dry of power it turned to dust.
No Brainiac was damaged in an earlier episode. When Zod took over Lex body and then the disc he was using to destroy the world was broken in two. Then other half that wasn’t drained by Bow wow in that episode still exist and that is Brainiac. His left overs.
